The real estate industry is ever active with hundreds of transactions completed successfully every week. In such an active environment it is very essential for a Realtor to be in the best of his career all through. With attractive loan offers from banks and mortgage lenders real estate agents are a lot in demand. A legitimate Realtor must have a real estate license to deal property. This license gives them the right to also negotiate the financial and legal issues with other Realtors and clients.
Each state in the
· A real estate education and degree from recognized real estate schools and universities
· An application with all necessary documents to be submitted to the state
· A pass percentage in the state real estate examination
On clearing the state examination the real estate aspirant can apply for a real estate license that is issued at four levels in the
An AT or trainee license aspirant must have a minimum of 90 hours education covering all real estate aspects. A 15 hours session on professional ethics and conduct strategy is a part of this education. On passing the examination the aspirant is granted the license and he must work under a Californian Realtor.
The education of the AL or residential license aspirant is similar to that of an AT license aspirant. He must have a minimum of 2000 hours experience in real estate. On passing the residential license examination he is eligible to deal in residential property and commercial property up to $250,000.
An AR or certified residential license aspirant must have 120 hours of related real estate education and 15 hours of ethical education. He must possess an experience of 2500 hours over 30 months. He is eligible to deal residential property on passing the AQB examination and also deal non residential property up to $250,000.
A certified general license or AG aspirant must have 180 hours of real estate education and 15 hours of ethical training. He must also possess 3000 hours of residential real estate experience over 18 months along with 1500 hours of non residential experience. On passing the state appraiser examination, he is eligible to deal in all types of property.
With the right education and a real estate appraisal license from the state, a Realtor is sure to have a rewarding career.
